Company’s Juarez, Mexico location recognized for its commitments to employee health and safety, and to improving and preserving the environment 

CIUDAD JUAREZ, MEXICO, – April 25, 2019:  Procuraduria Federal de Proteccion al Ambiente (PROFEPA), Mexico’s federal environmental protection agency, granted Mack Technologies Inc.’s Juarez manufacturing facility its Clean Industry Certification.  The certification recognizes Mack’s commitment to providing its over 700 employees in Juarez with a healthy and safe workplace, and to protecting and improving the environment.  Fewer than ten percent of manufacturers in Mexico have been granted this esteemed certification.

Obtaining the Clean Industry Certification was a years-long process that involved employees at all levels of Mack’s Juarez facility.  PROFEPA representatives conducted multiple audits, focused on environmental health and safety, to ensure the facility’s management systems and practices complied with PROFEPA’s rigorous certification standards.“All of us at Mack Juarez are proud to be recognized by PROFEPA for our commitment to protecting the planet and to providing a safe and healthy workplace,” said Oscar Gonzalez, General Manager of Mack Technologies, Juarez.  “From our chemicals-handling systems to our strict 5S lean manufacturing processes, every operation in our facility is geared toward creating the best possible working conditions for our employees and the environment.  The Clean Industry Certification is a testament to our efforts and environmental leadership.”
